Projects by CultureStrike follow in the tradition of Mexican muralists, civil rights leaders, and street theatre groups. They deliver a strong message that empowers the disenfranchised in beautiful works of art. Please join us for the opening of Visions From The Inside, an exhibit that visualizes the experiences of migrants in for profit detention centers across the United States.

Bring your family to The Mexican Museum for a Sunday afternoon full of family-friendly art activities inspired by Tramas Urbanas, an exhibition showcasing the textural work of Mexican artist Paloma Torres. Guests can drop in between 12pm-4pm to learn how to make their very own, take-home felt or woven tapestry. This event will take place on the last day Tramas Urbanas is on view, so our unique, free art activities based on the exhibition are not to be missed!

Like all Family Sundays, this event is free and open to people of all ages. Due to limited space, attendees are encouraged to arrive early. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
