The Mexican Museum and YBCBD is hosting a Cinco de Mayo Festival on Friday, May 5th from 5pm – 8pm in the Yerba Buena Gardens Eastern Walkway (the one with the glass ship in the cement near YBCA). Carne Cruda will be entertaining with exciting and upbeat music, Ballet Folklorico will perform their heritage-rich dances, and the Children’s Creativity Museum will be there with some activities for the kids. Stop by! It’s free and fun.

Bring your family to The Mexican Museum for a Sunday afternoon full of family-friendly art activities inspired by Tramas Urbanas, an exhibition showcasing the textural work of Mexican artist Paloma Torres. Guests can drop in between 12pm-4pm to learn how to make their very own mixed-media woven art piece!
Like all Family Sundays, this event is free and open to people of all ages. Due to limited space, attendees are encouraged to arrive early. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
