As part of the 2016 Yerba Buena ART WALK, The Mexican Museum will be collaborating with The Museum of Performance + Design to present A Celebration of Aztec Traditions at The Museum of Performance + Design. The Mexican Museum will host art activities for people of all ages, including a drawing contest to win a Family Membership to the museum! The Museum of Performance + Design will provide pop-up exhibits showcasing rarely seen stage costumes, viewing stations of archival footage, and more! In addition, Tezkatlipoka Aztec Dance and Drum will perform traditional Aztec dances at 5:00pm! Please join us for this incredible partnership between our two museums for an unforgettable, educational event!

NAHJ Bay Area Journalism Symposium Program

Chairman Andrew Kluger of The Mexican Museum will be participating in a panel discussion tomorrow on "Art as Journalism: Showing Truth to Power" as part of the NAHJ Bay Area Hispanic Heritage Month Symposium at City College of San Francisco. The event is hosted by the Bay Area Chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
