Family Sunday: Visionary Printmaking

The Mexican Museum invites guests of all ages to participate in an art activity day inspired by Visions from the Inside! Drop in on Sunday, July 23, between 12pm-4pm to create your own visionary design using the traditional process of block printing. Visitors will learn the history of printmaking and the significance of this artistic practice as a form of propaganda, individual style, and free speech. The process of printmaking will be explained by our art activity leaders and supplies for the art activity will be provided.

Like all Family Sundays, this event is free and open to people of all ages. Due to limited space, attendees are encouraged to arrive early. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Come with a fully charged phone and get ready to start snapping at 3:30.

You are invited to celebrate the opening night of Chants and Prayers at The Mexican Museum on Friday, June 23 from 6-8pm. For nearly forty years, Feldsott’s work has defied easy categorization and has invoked controversial responses from his audience. This exhibit showcases selections of Feldsott’s visceral and prolific body of work.
