Location: The Mexican Museum, Fort Mason Center, 2 Marina Blvd., Building D
Salary: $18.00/ hour
Status: Part-time, Thursdays & Fridays, 12-4 p.m.

Reports to: Executive Assistant to the CEO & President

Description: This position has the responsibility of providing an excellent visitor experience at the Museum by answering the main museum phone line, greeting museum visitors at reception, and promoting the Museum Membership program. The Visitor Services & Special Events Associate will also manage museum store purchases, and will assist the Executive Assistant to the CEO & President with finance and museum programming-related duties.

Specific Duties: Visitor Services & Special Events Associate must greet the public, answer telephones, and promote the Museum Membership program. He/she must diligently catalog museum store purchases. He/she works closely with the Executive Assistant to the CEO & President on museum events, school tours, and financial  record keeping.

Requirements: Successful candidate has the ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and organization skills are necessary. Prior office management experience preferred. Bilingual Spanish speaking skills are desired but not necessary.
